Be Like The Sun (Alba House AH411) 1974

“Canticles of Praise and Contemplation”. Though still classifiable as a folk album, Be Like The Sun has more of a meditative praise/worship direction like later St. Louis Jesuits. Stirring melodies are carried along by soft male/female ensemble vocals, with Fabing and a couple others occasionally singing lead. Piano added this time, plus graceful flute and violin solos. ‘Will You Believe Me Thomas’, ‘A Canticle Of Care’, ‘The Contemplation Song’, ‘Chariots Of Clouds’, seven more. Bob was a member of the Jesuit community at the University of Santa Clara. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
