Lovely Catholic acoustic album from the Toronto folk-singing duo of Kerry Mothersill and Frank Lynch. Soft and soothing one moment, bright and jangly the next, often with a mood similar to Foley & Kanavaugh’s Ways To Get Through. Gentle soothing harmonies from the duo, backed solely by their two acoustic guitars. Side one features familiar songs such as ‘Join Hands, My Brothers’, ‘They’ll Know We Are Christians By Our Love’, ‘Behold The Wood Of The Cross’ and ‘To Be Alive’. Side two contains originals written by Lynch, including titles like ‘What’s Wrong With The World’, ‘Song To Sparrow’, ‘It’s Me, It’s You’ and ‘Miss Rosie’. Eighteen songs in all. Part of the Come To The Father Series. Be careful, there are some other albums in the series with the same cover, but they contain children’s choirs. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).

There are at least three more different color front covers for this album, a light yellow, a burgundy, and a pinkish purple that I have seen so far. Besides those shown here.  Thank you George for the front and rear purple cover photos.
