Godofallofus (Light LS-5590-LP) 1969?
Not a bad early brass-rock attempt from eleven-member outfit, comparable to early Myrrh bands like Crimson Bridge and First Gear. Mostly no-strings light rock in a ‘One Tin Soldier’ vein. Spicier organ-churning numbers like the six-minute fuzz-funky title cut and ‘The Great Financial Revival’ have enough sock-it-to-ya punch to leave impressions of Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears. Member George Gagliardi contributes a noteworthy solo blues track called ‘The Eastside Morning Glory Sunday Sorority’. Eight original songs, plus ‘Jesus Made Me Higher’ and an el smooth-o version of ‘Quiet Place’. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
