Thanks A Trillion (Poiema no #) 1979
Acceptance With Joy is the California trio of Greg Jones, Linda Connor and Elizabeth Tholander. They have a warm glowing acoustic soft-rock style that is very similar to Ellis & Lynch, with occasional touches of Gamble Folk. That means stirring harmonies of course, along with splendid acoustic guitar work. Arrangements work in such instruments as piano, flute, violin, Fender Rhodes and synthesizer. Some beautiful song-writing, especially ‘Little King’, ‘As His Sons’, ‘Day Of Salvation’, ‘Heart Of God’ and ‘Clean Heart’. Includes a cover of Phill McHugh’s ‘Skeptic’s Song/Canvas For The Sun’. Cover is a b&w photo of the trio inner-tubing down a snow-covered hill. One of the prettiest examples of this style. (The Archivist by Ken Scott, 4th Edition).
Thank you Donald for the rear cover photo.
