Sow A Seed (Epoch VII WV01) 1974
Once past initial thoughts of wondering how she could possibly manage that knee-length hair, one discovers a pleasant folk-singer with occasional pop, light rock and country influences – a style that recalls Maranatha ladies Karen Lafferty and Becky Ugartechea. Features Wendy on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, others on bass, lead guitar, piano, flute, cello, violin, organ, percussion, pedal steel guitar and background vocals. ‘Let Me Do It With Love’, ‘Sow A Seed’, ‘High Time’, ‘The Lord Gave Me A Song’, ‘Keep The Faith On Movin’ and ‘Come To My Table’ are some of her original songs. Includes a good folksy interpretation of ‘Were You There’ where Wendy plays dulcimer. (Ken Scott – The Archivist).
A special thank you to Chuck for providing the music.
