The Warmth Of His Love (Kristi KPI 378-S) 1976?

Posed on the cover with guitar, bongos, dulcimer, and melodica (and with mandolin and recorder listed in the credits) one would expect a real earthy folk style from this 2-guy 2-girl Michigan group. There are glimmers of such but more often they’re performing soft basic four-part-harmony folk – the adult kind that could be performed at a conservative church without incident. An ok album I guess, much better than their orchestrated one on the Pinebrook label. (Ken Scott – The Archivist).
