Marguerite Thompson & Cindy Schroer (D-1059 008080X) 1980

Folk hymns, traditionals, spirituals, and a few originals done up in simple arrangements with guitars, flute, piano, violin, cello, bells, and of course the lovely harmonies of the two ladies. Among the recognizable songs are ‘King Of Love’, ‘Babylon’, ‘Down By The Riverside’, ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ and Melody Green’s ‘Make My Life A Prayer’. Has a nice instrumental that would fit perfectly on Keaggy’s Beyond Nature. In fact several of these songs have that tranquil sometimes classical mood to them. (Ken Scott – The Archivist).
