Watch With Me (Fontaine House 29925/6) 1972

Watch With Me begins to leave the primitive low-budget tone of his first three albums behind with significantly improved production values. The album also shows the first moves toward a more soothing contemplative acoustic sound – a style not unlike some of John Michael Talbot’s reflections. Stand-out is ‘Jesus, In Our Hands’ with its striking minor-key mood. Includes a couple short liturgical refrains and one children’s song. The cello and piano are a nice touch. (Ken Scott – Archivist).
